Buddy's retailer network is growing quickly. As such we're looking for a hungry and self-going Sales Manager to expand our B2B customer base. Your duties will include finding new potential wholesalers and distributors and form long-term prosperous relationships that drives revenue and strengthen our brand awareness. 

To be successful in this role you should have proven experience from sales with strong results, pet knowledge, able to deliver under pressure, and combine excellent communication skills with a strategic mindset. Able to work alone, and being part of a larger team. You will report directly to our COO.

For the right candidate this opportunity would entail building and leading our B2B Sales Team as we continue our journey to become Europe's leading all-natural premium pet food brand.

Previous experience from the pet food/care or FMCG is a plus.


  • Own and hit/exceed sales targets. Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
  • Actively seek out to new wholesalers and distributors through cold calling, networking, meetings, fairs and event representation, and social media
  • Prepare and effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentation
  • Develop and execute strategic plan to achieve sales targets 
  • Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
  • Serve as the lead point of contact for customer account management matters
  • Evaluate distributors, stores and individual performance
  • Ensure the availability of stock for sales, events and fairs
  • Participate in decisions for expansion or acquisition
  • Address potential problems and suggest prompt solutions
  • Analyze regional market trends and discover new opportunities for growth
  • Identify hiring needs, select and train new salespeople


  • Proven work experience as a Sales Manager, Account- or Key Account Manager with strong results
  • Experience from pet food/care or FMCG products is a merit
  • Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
  • Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services - being able to position products against competitors
  • Strong business sense and industry expertise
  • Understanding of brick-and mortar store operations
  • Familiarity with CRM software
  • Ability to measure and analyze key performance indicators (ROI and KPIs)
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills
  • Availability to travel as needed
  • Drivings license
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent (a proven career within sales is most important)
  • Love dogs
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills in SWE and ENG. Other languages are a plus
